Reporting a Security Issue
If you believe you have found a security issue in any TownSuite product, please let us know right away. We take all reports seriously, regardless of your technical background.
What to Report
Please report any issue that could affect the security, privacy, or integrity of our products or your data. This includes, but is not limited to:
Code flaws — bugs or defects that could be exploited (e.g., injection vulnerabilities, authentication bypasses)
Vulnerable dependencies — outdated or insecure third-party libraries or components
Privacy breaches — unauthorized access to or collection of personal information
Data loss or exposure — situations where data could be accidentally deleted, leaked, or made accessible to unauthorized parties
Security misconfigurations — settings or defaults that weaken the security of the product
Anything that feels wrong — if something doesn’t look right or behaves unexpectedly in a way that concerns you, we want to hear about it
How to Report
Send your report to the TownSuite support department at support@townsuite.com. You will receive a response within one business day.
Please avoid sharing details of the vulnerability publicly until we’ve had a chance to address it. This helps protect all users while a fix is being developed.
If the issue is confirmed, we will release a fix as soon as possible.
Safe Harbor
We will not take legal action against anyone who reports a security issue in good faith. If you make a reasonable effort to avoid privacy violations, data destruction, and disruption of our services during your research, we will consider your actions to be authorized.
What to ExpectAcknowledgment — You will receive a response within one business day confirming we received your report.
Investigation — Our team will review the issue and may follow up with questions.
Fix — If confirmed, we will develop and release a fix as soon as possible.
Notification — We will let you know when the issue has been resolved.
